Our story
FIL is New Zealand's leading dairy hygiene and animal health supplier. We're based at Mount Maunganui in the North Island and Timaru in the South Island. We know that farming is a business for the long term.
We've been in operation since 1978 and our primary objective is helping farmers, by making their job easier.
We’ve focused on developing a wide product range that includes dairy detergents and sanitisers, teat care products, bloat remedies, spray marker dyes, nutritional stock licks and our award-winning and globally recognised range of oestrus detection tailpaints.
The work of farming is done on the ground, not on the phone, so our experienced team of 16 Farm Service Area Managers work throughout New Zealand providing unrivalled on-farm service in product knowledge and milk quality consulting.
Our Management Team operates from our Mount Maunganui premises where the majority of our products are developed and manufactured.
We also export to 10 international markets including Australia, the USA and the UK.
FIL is ISO9001:2008 accredited.
