Allan Clarke, known as “Clarkey”, brings more than 20 years of hands-on dairy farming experience to his role as FIL Area Manager. Over 23 years, he progressed from farm worker to contract milker, 50/50 sharemilker and farm owner, giving him a strong, practical understanding of the Agri industry.
Allan first joined FIL in 2002, spending 13 years with the business before moving to another chemical supplier for nine years. After a year in drystock farming, he returned to FIL in 2024 in a part-time role and now serves full-time as Area Manager.
Allan is excited to be part of FIL during a time of significant innovation, particularly with GEA driving new developments in robotic milking technology. He enjoys staying connected to the evolving industry and seeing new products come to market.
With solid knowledge of milking plant systems, Allan’s real strength is working with people. He values building relationships with farm teams at all levels and helping them get the best results from their operations.
Outside of work, Allan is passionate about motorbiking. He owns a Harley Ultraglide and a Triumph Rocket, and for the past 10 years has combined his love of riding with travel, leading guided motorbike trips through Vietnam.
