Rob Taynton

Rob joined FIL in June 2026 as Area Manager for Mid Canterbury.

He spent a number of years dairy farming before moving into the wider dairy sector, where he has worked in sales as a rep for the past eight years. This hands-on experience gives him a solid understanding of what’s involved on farm.

He enjoys getting out on farm, meeting great people and helping solve problems with quality products that make a real difference. He has a particular interest in udder health and enjoys working with farmers to help lower somatic cell counts.

He holds a Diploma in Animal Science.

Outside of work, he loves fishing - whether that’s in rivers, lakes, or out in the ocean.
