Drum recycling made easy with AgRecovery

Did you know you can recycle empty containers and unwanted chemical for free?

We teamed up with AgRecovery in 2015 to help farmers to remove and recycle unwanted, used drums and in the process, we are keeping in line with our sustainability values and goals.

AgRecovery are a not-for-profit charitable trust that provide agrichemical container recycling and chemical recovery for New Zealand farmers and growers.

AgRecovery will pick up your unwanted drums from farm to be recycled, and its FREE!

To get your drums over 60L collected, simply visit agrecovery.co.nz and register as a member at no cost. Then book online for an on-property collection.

Your drums must be prepared for pick up, AgRecovery asks for the below criteria for 60L + drums:

• Drums must be empty

• Triple rinsed

• Clean and free from residue inside and out

• Product label left on

• Bung taken out

• Must have a hole punctured in the bottom to allow liquid residue to drain out

• Left upside down

Check out more on their collection criteria here.

You can drop containers under 60L, to be recycled here.

Collections take place on a quarterly basis and will be picked up through the months of February, May, August and November.
