Phillippa Foster

Phillippa Foster joined FIL in January 2026 covering the Otago, Ranfurly, and Omakau areas.

Phillippa brings a strong background in dairy farming. She was 50/50 sharemilking in Northland before heading down to South Otago, where she continued sharemilking on larger farms.

Having produced food as a farmer and being curious to gain a more in-depth understanding, Phillippa went on to study Human Nutrition and Food Science at the University of Otago.

After graduating in 2022, Phillippa worked with Halter for one year and Ravensdown for two years, combining her practical farming experience with scientific knowledge while gaining insight into agri-technology and agricultural services.

What excites Phillippa most about joining FIL is the people. With a deep understanding of dairy farmers and the challenges they face, she is motivated to make a positive impact on farm businesses and is looking forward to being part of the FIL team.

Outside of work, Phillippa enjoys spending time with her two teenage children and getting outdoors, whether that's tramping or heading out on the water for a fish.
